You know, I recently noticed again an interesting detail from BTC’s history. When Сатоши Накамото created Биткоин in 2009, he embedded a phrase from the newspaper газета The Times into the very first block—Genesis Block. And it wasn’t just some random string.

Here’s what it said: "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks." In Russian, it comes out roughly like: "Канцлер на пороге второго спасения банков." This was a real headline from a British newspaper dated 3 января 2009 года, about the financial crisis and the government’s attempts to save the banking system.

It’s not just for fun. It was a very clear hint from Сатоши Накамото that what worried him was the existing financial system—constant government intervention, bailing out banks at taxpayers’ expense, instability. He was basically saying: "See what’s happening? An alternative is needed."

And this is where I see the depth of the message. Биткоин was created as a response to this problem—a decentralized system that doesn’t need rescuing by the state, because it works according to clear mathematical rules. There will be no "Chancellor on brink of second bailout" here.

But honestly? I often find myself asking the question that, it seems, also bothered you. Can BTC truly replace the traditional banking system? Or will it be more like insurance—a reserve system in case of crisis? Maybe its role will be completely different—as a tool for preserving value amid inflation and instability?

It seems to me that history shows that Биткоин has already proven its worth as an alternative. But fully replacing banks? That’s probably a more complex question than what Сатоши Накамото seemed to think back in 2009.
