Tianfeng Securities: Optimistic about the 2026 wind power sector's performance and valuation-driven growth, ushering in sector-wide opportunities

Tianfeng Securities’ research report believes the 2026 wind power sector has upside from both performance and valuation, and is poised to see sector-wide opportunities. On the performance side, the market’s earlier concerns were that the sector’s historical outlook had never been realized, but 2025’s wind power leaders’ profits have already started to recover. Recently, earnings pre-announcements have been rolling out in clusters; looking ahead to all of 2026, the sector may see performance at a sector-wide level. On the valuation side, in addition to domestic wind power demand coming in better than expected, long-term wind power demand has been underestimated. The report once again highlights the expectation gap in the current Europe chain and power interconnection—especially as European data center construction further strengthens demand for offshore wind and power interconnection.
