60,000 ETH Transferred to Coinbase, Suspected Owner is DARMA Capital Co-founder Andrew Keys
On April 7, 60,000 ETH were redeemed from Ethereum staking and transferred to Coinbase this morning. According to analysis by Yu Jin, the owner of this ETH is Andrew Keys, co-founder of DARMA Capital, and these ETH have been staked for nearly five years. In recent days, a large amount of this ETH was redeemed and consolidated before being transferred to Coinbase. Over the nearly five years of staking, these ETH earned approximately 18% in coin-based returns (16,000 ETH, valued at $34.2 million). Public information shows that DARMA Capital (full name Digital Asset Risk Management Advisors) is a global investment management firm focused on digital asset risk management and blockchain technology. Founded in 2017, the company primarily provides professional risk management for institutional investors’ digital asset exposure, emphasizing quantitative systematic alpha generation rather than traditional VC-style multi-token speculative portfolios. Andrew Keys is the co-founder and managing partner of the company. He previously served as the head of global business development at ConsenSys and was one of the early key promoters of the Ethereum ecosystem. Currently, Andrew Keys also serves as the co-founder of The Ether Machine.
