Iran states that oil exports from Kharg Island are proceeding normally

A reporter learned that on the 28th local time, the spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s Parliament, Ebrahim Rezaei, said that the security situation on Khark Island is stable, daily life and order on the island are normal, and oil exports are proceeding smoothly. On the same day, Rezaei visited Khark Island together with some members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s Parliament. He warned that any attack targeting Khark Island would be met with a resolute counterattack by Iran. Khark Island is located in the northwest of the Persian Gulf, about 25 kilometers from Iran’s coast. It is Iran’s largest crude oil export base, and 90% of Iran’s crude oil is exported from here.
