Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange’s benchmark xylene futures contract quickly dropped sharply, turning from gains to losses; it is now down more than 2%, trading at 9,930 yuan per ton. The PTA benchmark futures contract is down more than 3%, trading at 6,840 yuan per ton.
