CITIC Securities: An employee of its Hong Kong subsidiary was questioned by the anti-corruption agency. The operations of the Company and its Hong Kong subsidiary are normal.

CITIC Securities announced that the Company has noticed recent reports by certain media outlets regarding an investigation by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and the Independent Commission Against Corruption into one of the Company’s Hong Kong subsidiaries. After verification, on March 10, 2026, the Hong Kong Securities Commission and the ICAC, armed with search warrants, visited the business premises of the Hong Kong subsidiary and took away certain documents. One employee of the Hong Kong subsidiary was questioned by the ICAC. The Company attaches great importance to this matter and will continue to closely monitor its progress. The Company’s Board of Directors confirms that, as of the date of disclosure of this announcement, the Company and its Hong Kong subsidiary are operating normally, all business activities remain in normal operation, and all business activities are being carried out in an orderly and compliant manner.
