On March 12, Zhou Hongyi, the founder of 360 Group, said at the 360 Lobster security media exchange event that the Chinese internet industry encourages an open-source environment, which helps promote the healthy competition and development of homegrown “lobsters.” He noted that China has long advocated open source and openness and encouraged tech to benefit everyone, which can lower the barrier for businesses and individuals to use lobster-type products at a lower cost. Zhou Hongyi believes that this “everyone lifts the sedan together” model is harder to realize in the United States, whereas in China, major companies can support one another within the open-source ecosystem and jointly drive the continuous improvement of lobster functions. In addition, he said that compared with the United States, China has more abundant and well-developed application scenarios, and diverse real-world needs will also provide broad space for the development of lobster technology, allowing it to achieve healthier growth in the Chinese market.
