Resolv Labs destroyed 36.73 million USR held by hackers through a contract upgrade 1 hour ago.
Odaily Planet Daily News reports that, according to on-chain analysis by analyst Yu Jin, about 1 hour ago, Resolv Labs destroyed 36.73 million USR held by the hacker by upgrading the contract. On 3/22, the hacker used a minting loophole to mint 80 million USR without collateral; of these, about 34 million USR were sold off by the hacker and exchanged for 11,409 ETH ($24.48 million) stored at the 0x8ED…81C address. In addition, about 46 million USR were destroyed from the hacker’s address by the Resolv project team through a contract upgrade. The actual loss from Resolv’s vulnerability exploitation incident this time was $34 million.
