**Opinion.com News: **On April 6, Wang Pindi, Director of the Hong Kong Property research division, said that based on the Hong Kong Property research division’s compilation of Land Registry Department data, 1,601 second-hand Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) registrations were recorded in the first quarter. Although this was down by about 3.3% compared with the 1,655 registrations in the fourth quarter of last year, it still represented the second-highest level in seven quarters.
Among them, when divided by amount: second-hand HOS units of HK$4 million or below recorded 862 registrations, down about 11.4% quarter-over-quarter; those above HK$4 million up to HK$5 million recorded 468 registrations, up slightly by about 1.3% quarter-over-quarter; and those above HK$5 million recorded 271 registrations, up about 23.2% quarter-over-quarter.
In terms of the ranking of estates by the volume of first-quarter second-hand HOS registrations, Fanling Shan Li Court topped the list with 33 registrations, up about 3.1% quarter-over-quarter; Tuen Mun Siu Hong Court and Cheung Sha Wan Ka Lok Court were tied for second place with 28 registrations each.
