Local time on March 27, a U.S. Department of Defense official disclosed that since combat operations targeting Iran began, more than 300 U.S. service members have been injured in the operation. The official said that among these injured personnel, more than 75% of the injuries involve traumatic brain injury. The official stated that as of that day, 303 active-duty U.S. personnel had been injured, a figure higher than the approximately 290 reported earlier this week by the Department of Defense. Of these injured personnel, 273 have returned to duty. As of now, 10 active-duty U.S. personnel are still suffering from serious injuries. To date, 13 active-duty U.S. personnel have been killed in the operation. (CCTV News)
