Tiger Woods | Pro golfer involved in another car incident, refused urine test and was arrested
Famous American golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident in Florida, but he was not injured. However, due to his refusal to take a urine test, he was arrested by the police at the scene of the accident.
U.S. President Donald Trump expressed sadness over the incident. Woods publicly started dating Trump’s ex-wife Vanessa last year, and Trump even offered his blessings at that time.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Florida when Woods was driving an SUV on Jupiter Island. He crashed into the back of a cleaning trailer while attempting to pass it, causing his vehicle to flip over. Woods climbed out of the car on his own.
The police stated that Woods had a negative alcohol breath test result. Since he refused to take a urine test, it could not be determined whether drugs or narcotics were involved. Authorities charged him with two lesser offenses: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing property damage and refusing to submit to a legal test.
This is Woods’ third involvement in a car accident. He was arrested for DUI in 2017; the second incident occurred in February 2021 in Los Angeles when he was speeding on a coastal road and crashed off the road, resulting in multiple injuries to his leg and ankle, with a temporary risk of amputation.
