"The washing machine" is coming! Footage of domestic laser weapon's real attack revealed

What use is a “washing machine” that can’t wash clothes?

In fact, this is a domestically produced laser weapon.

What is its true power?

Let’s take a look at the real strike scene ↓

The “Light Arrow-11E” relies on laser pulses

To instantly “blind” drones.

It appears somewhat like a container device, which is the “Light Arrow-11E” multi-mode composite end interference system.

On the battlefield, “low, slow, small” drones usually employ covert infiltration, flying at altitudes that are in the detection blind spots of traditional radars. When responding to their attacks, the “Light Arrow-11E” acts like a quick-reacting guardian.

The “Light Arrow-11E” uses pulsed lasers for precise targeting, directly hitting the core components of drones, instantly “blinding” them and causing them to lose reconnaissance, data transmission, and other combat capabilities.

The “Light Arrow-21A” excels in “hard kill”

It can burn drones from several kilometers away.

Fiber optic drones are widely used in modern warfare, and their biggest feature is the real-time transmission of flight data and images to the operator through fiber optics, making them difficult to jam electronically; the only way to deal with them is often to shoot them down.

The “Light Arrow-21A” adopts a “move and shoot” response mode, allowing it to maintain a state of fire suppression while avoiding easy targeting by the enemy due to being stationary.

From the perspective of strike mode, the “Light Arrow-21A” excels in “hard kill” capability, capable of forming a high-density energy beam from several kilometers away, continuously acting on the drone’s structural body, penetrating the target drone’s shell in a short time and burning the internal circuits or power systems.

One soft and one hard work together

“Discover and destroy.”

The two combat modes, one “soft” and one “hard,” target different distances and threat levels, perfectly filling the gaps in their respective combat ranges.

As combat partners, both the “Light Arrow-21A” and “Light Arrow-11E” are equipped with phased array radars and infrared reconnaissance systems, which can interconnect through both “wired + wireless” methods, achieving real-time information sharing and accurately completing target locking and identification.

Zhou Shuiliang from the China Aviation Industry Corporation Manufacturing Institute stated that laser weapons, as a new type of equipment in new domains, automatically allocate strike firepower through multi-dimensional detection and intelligent recognition, with a very strong reaction speed and battlefield environment adaptability. In terms of systematic combat, the two types of equipment can achieve hard-soft integration and collaborative operations, and can also quickly interact with radar, electro-optical, and other early warning detection systems, forming a closed loop of “discover and destroy,” ensuring the safety of key areas.
