Williams: As of the week ending March 25, the number of sugar ships waiting to be shipped at Brazilian ports decreased to 34 vessels.

Data released by the Brazilian shipping agency Williams shows that as of the week ending March 25, the number of vessels waiting to load sugar at Brazilian ports was 34, down from 40 the previous week. The quantity of sugar waiting to be shipped at the ports was 1.063 million tons, down from 1.2827 million tons the previous week. Of the total amount of sugar waiting for export that week, the quantity of high-purity raw sugar (VHP) was 985,500 tons. According to the data released by Williams, the quantity of sugar waiting for export at the Port of Santos was 603,100 tons, and the quantity waiting for export at the Port of Paranaguá was 106,500 tons.
