OpenAI's latest fundraising round aims to raise over $120 billion.

a16z, DE Shaw, MGX (Abu Dhabi, UAE), TPG, and Rowe Price (NASDAQ:TROW) are participating in the investment, with Microsoft also joining as a follow-on investor.

OpenAI itself predicts that by the end of 2026, the B2B and B2C business mix will become a 50-50 split.

Additionally, Sora, a video generation application that launched prominently in September 2025 and briefly topped the App Store charts, announced its shutdown six months later.

OpenAI is stabilizing its revenue structure on the B2B side while testing, eliminating, and streamlining its B2C offerings.
