【Enterprise Spotlight】Capeyun's "AI+Energy" Application Achieves Another Milestone: Anhui Xuancheng Virtual Power Plant Successfully Completes Multiple Power Dispatch Cycles

Recently, CapCloud’s “AI + Energy” application business has achieved phased results: in collaboration with North China Electric Power University, the company operated the Anhui Province Xuancheng full-area virtual power plant. Within 15 days, it successfully responded to nine power dispatching requests such as peak shaving and frequency regulation from the regional power grid, with a response success rate of 100%, command execution deviation rate ≤2%, efficiently completing services like peak shaving, valley filling, and promoting new energy consumption. The platform operates stably and reliably, supporting the safe and steady operation of the regional power system.

During the nine demand response events, the platform’s effective response time totaled over 40 hours. From receiving dispatch instructions to completing load adjustments, the average response time was about 3 minutes, with the fastest response taking only 1.5 minutes. Its efficient response capability allows it to quickly adapt to dynamic changes in the power system, adjust loads in a timely manner, and ensure stable power supply.

This series of responses covers multiple typical scenarios such as industrial load regulation, flexible adjustment of commercial charging stations, and distributed energy storage coordination. It connects with various user-side resources including industrial enterprises and charging facility operators, providing real-time, precise monitoring of the operation status of various energy devices to ensure accurate dispatching.

The stable operation of the Xuancheng full-area virtual power plant platform is supported by advanced technology. The platform integrates IoT, big data, and AI technologies, aggregating over 500 distributed energy devices across the city. Its core competitiveness lies in full-area resource aggregation and intelligent, precise regulation. Key technical indicators demonstrate the platform’s strength:

Data Compatibility

Compatible with more than ten mainstream device data protocols, capable of sensing the operation status of massive distributed resources in real-time. Data collection refresh rate reaches second-level, with data transmission accuracy above 99.9%.

Intelligent Forecasting

Relying on advanced dispatch collaboration algorithms, the prediction accuracy for adjustable loads within the region exceeds 95%, providing a scientific basis for dispatch instructions by accurately forecasting adjustable potential.

Stable and Reliable

Whether for daily peak shaving and valley filling or emergency responses, the platform can ensure “responds immediately, adjusts effectively,” fully demonstrating stability and accuracy in complex scenarios.

Meanwhile, under the continuous empowerment of CapCloud’s AI technology, the platform’s capabilities are further upgraded: AI precisely predicts wind and solar power output and electricity load to dynamically balance grid supply and demand; intelligently aggregates distributed photovoltaic, energy storage, and adjustable loads for optimal resource scheduling and second-level response; monitors energy operation status in real-time, automatically alerts faults, and optimizes operation strategies, significantly improving grid regulation efficiency.

According to project plans, CapCloud will continue to work with partners to advance platform development. By 2026, it is expected to increase the adjustable load capacity of the Xuancheng virtual power plant to 200,000 kW and improve new energy consumption efficiency by over 10%. Achieving these goals will further enhance the flexibility and stability of the regional power system, using technological strength to ensure grid safety, improve new energy absorption efficiency, and build a greener, low-carbon future.
