The United States will hold an important mineral event in Brazil next month to deepen relations with Brazil. Brazil is one of the countries with the world’s largest reserves of rare earth elements and various critical metals, which are essential for modern technology and data centers. According to a preliminary agenda seen by the media, the U.S. Embassy in Brazil and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are assisting in organizing an event on March 18 in São Paulo, where U.S. government agencies will meet with executives from mining companies and rare earth enterprises involved in projects in Brazil. Participating companies include Aclara Resources Inc., Meteoric Resources NL, Brazil Rare Earth Ltd., and Viridis Mining and Minerals Ltd.—all of which have rare earth projects in Brazil. Brazil’s only rare earth producer, Serra Verde Group, is also on the agenda, along with Vale’s base metals division. The U.S. Embassy in Brazil and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have confirmed the event and stated that a more detailed agenda will be announced later. (Sina Finance)
