On March 18, the “Zhonggu Xiamen” vessel operated smoothly at the Eurasia International Container Terminal in Tianjin Port, marking the official weekly operation of Tianjin Port Group’s “Dexiang Zhengli Southeast Asia Line NTX.” As a key practice of the group’s 2026 “Extended Chain Year” initiative, this route focuses on stable scheduled shipping, extending the logistics chain through resource coordination, service upgrades, and market outreach across multiple dimensions. It not only provides an efficient channel for China-Thailand trade but also serves as an important carrier for the Belt and Road Initiative.
The weekly operation of “Dexiang Zhengli Southeast Asia Line NTX” supports port logistics services for building the Belt and Road, aligning deeply with the requirements of infrastructure connectivity and trade smoothness. The route forms a closed-loop network covering “Tianjin - Dalian - Qingdao - Hong Kong - Shekou - Ratchaburi - Hong Kong - Nansha - Tianjin,” reaching key ports in North, East, and South China, and radiates to Southeast Asian markets via Thailand’s Ratchaburi Port, extending the logistics chain from bilateral China-Thailand to regional multilateral trade, continuously expanding the scope of trade radiation.
The official operation of this route will bring stable scheduled services, solving the pain points of traditional China-Thailand freight transport such as multiple transshipments and slow transit times. It enables trade goods like electromechanical products and agricultural products to achieve direct weekly delivery, providing “timed, fixed-point, stable” logistics support for trade exchanges along the Belt and Road. Additionally, leveraging the hub advantage of Ratchaburi Port, the service extends from Thailand to Vietnam, Malaysia, and other Southeast Asian countries, further strengthening cross-border logistics networks, promoting deep integration of China and ASEAN industrial and supply chains, and facilitating Chinese enterprises to better connect with the ASEAN market through direct sea routes to Southeast Asia.
From preparation to operation, Tianjin Port Group focuses on the core of the “Extended Chain Year,” aiming to “extend the industrial chain, stabilize the supply chain, and enhance the value chain,” ensuring full-chain logistics solutions to address pain points. Tianjin Port Co., Ltd. coordinates port dispatching, cargo clearance, and regional logistics connections, extending services from “single port operations” to “full-process cross-regional support,” ensuring that the weekly route operates with “berthing and immediate dispatch.” Eurasia International Company emphasizes “service quality improvement and efficiency enhancement,” diligently preparing for the route, accurately grasping key vessel cargo information, optimizing the connection between ships, vehicles, and cargo, and ensuring precise schedule fulfillment. The terminal functions are extended from “single handling operations” to “industrial chain logistics support,” helping enterprises reduce overall operational costs.
In the future, Tianjin Port Group will take the “Dexiang Zhengli Southeast Asia Line NTX” as a starting point, deepen the results of the “Extended Chain Year” initiative, fully leverage the port’s land-sea connection advantages, and strive to open more foreign trade routes, ocean lines, and rail-sea combined transport trains. This will expand new space for participating in the Belt and Road construction, continuously explore pragmatic cooperation with more ports along the Belt and Road, and better serve national strategies and regional development through the achievements of the “Extended Chain.”
