People’s Financial News, March 24 — Recently, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. and BMW (China) Automotive Trading Ltd. filed recall plans with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the “Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products” and the “Implementation Measures for the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products.”

  1. BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. Recall Number S2026M0032V: Effective immediately, recalling some domestically produced 5 Series vehicles manufactured from December 5, 2023, to April 12, 2025, totaling 133,849 units.

  2. BMW (China) Automotive Trading Ltd. Recall Number S2026M0033V: Effective immediately, recalling some imported 5 Series vehicles manufactured from October 17, 2023, to April 8, 2025, totaling 8,978 units; some imported 7 Series vehicles manufactured from June 9, 2022, to April 3, 2025, totaling 36,527 units; and some imported M5 vehicles manufactured from July 4, 2024, to April 2, 2025, totaling 173 units.

Vehicles within the scope of this recall may have improper wiring of the front cabin air conditioning harness. During after-sales replacement of the air filter, this could cause damage to the front cabin air conditioning wiring harness. In extreme cases, short circuits may occur, posing a fire risk.
