US 10-year Treasury yield falls 4.75 basis points, reporting at 4.3321%

On March 23rd, at the close of the New York market, the US 10-year Treasury yield fell to 4.3321%, showing a sharp decline. The 2-year and 30-year Treasury yields also declined; while the 2/10-year Treasury spread rose to 49.494 basis points. TIPS yields showed mixed performance.

Gelonghui March 24 | Monday (March 23) New York Market Close: The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury fell 4.75 basis points to 4.3321%. At 19:05 Beijing time, a sharp drop occurred, quickly falling from around 4.44% to a new daily low of 4.3005%. The 2-year U.S. Treasury yield dropped 6.31 basis points to 3.8349%; the 30-year U.S. Treasury yield fell 3.27 basis points to 4.9050%. The 2/10-year Treasury yield spread increased by 1.972, to +49.494 basis points. The 10-year TIPS yield remained flat at 1.9893%; the 2-year TIPS yield rose 12.26 basis points to 0.6422%; the 30-year TIPS yield fell 2.11 basis points to 2.6869%.
