Korean and Japanese stock markets closed higher, with South Korean stock index rising nearly 3%

Mars Finance reports that on March 24, according to market data, the stock markets of Japan and South Korea closed higher: The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 736.79 points, a 1.43% increase, at 52,252.28 points; the KOSPI Index in South Korea closed up 148.18 points, a 2.74% increase, at 5,553.93 points.
