On March 23, 2026, the Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon event information was officially released. The race will start on April 19, with human and robot competitors competing together. Registration closed at 24:00 on March 10. The organizing committee received applications from 76 main teams across 13 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions nationwide, including over 80 corporate teams and more than 20 university and training camp teams; it also features 26 brands and over 300 humanoid robots.

This event is jointly hosted by the Beijing Municipal Government, China Central Radio and Television Station, China Electronics Society, and the World Robot Cooperation Organization.
