Iran and Egypt Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Call to Discuss Regional Situation

According to Xinhua News Agency, and as reported by Iran’s Tasnim News Agency on the 24th, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian spoke by phone with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to exchange views on the latest developments regarding the US and Israel’s attacks on Iran, as well as their regional and international implications.

During the call, Abdollahian outlined Iran’s latest position and described the self-defense actions taken by Iran’s armed forces. Shoukry provided the latest updates on Egypt’s efforts to ease regional tensions and consultations with regional and international parties. Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and consultations regarding the regional situation.
