Abstract generation in progress

Since the beginning of this year, the performance of different categories of theme ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) has shown divergence, with resource-related products leading in size. Data shows that as of March 16, resource ETFs such as gold and oil & gas have grown by over 10 billion yuan this year. Theme ETFs like dividends and power grid equipment have also performed relatively well. Wang Xiang, a fund manager at Bosera Fund, told reporters that since the beginning of this year, concerns over global liquidity combined with the decline in expectations for loose monetary policies in overseas markets have increased the demand for risk aversion, making precious metals like gold the main assets for allocation. This is also the main reason for the continuous rise in the scale of such thematic funds. Additionally, the current spillover effects of geopolitical risks on the global energy supply chain are further increasing, which will significantly push up international oil prices, and the scale of related theme ETFs is expected to grow noticeably.
