CRH (NYSE: CRH) has announced its intention to delist its ordinary shares and 7% preference shares from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and, subject to shareholder approval, cancel its 5% and 7% preference shares. The company’s primary listing moved to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in September 2023, and the LSE delisting is expected to be effective from April 20, 2026, making NYSE its sole listing for ordinary shares. The proposed preference share cancellations involve cash payments to shareholders and require approval at upcoming shareholder meetings in May 2026.
