Netanyahu's latest statement! The US plan is exposed!
The situation continues to change!
According to Xinhua News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video speech on the evening of March 23 that he will “defend Israel’s fundamental interests under any circumstances”; Israel will destroy Iran’s missile and nuclear programs and inflict heavy damage on Hezbollah in Lebanon. Netanyahu also revealed that Israel recently “eliminated” two Iranian nuclear scientists.
Previously, according to China News Service citing Israel’s Ynet News website on March 23, an Israeli official stated that the U.S. has set April 9 as the target date to end the conflict with Iran.
Referring to Reuters reports on March 23, the U.S. “Politico” quoted two U.S. government officials saying that the Trump administration is secretly considering Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani as a potential partner, or even as a future leader of Iran.
Netanyahu Speaks Out
On the evening of March 23, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video speech that U.S. President Donald Trump told him that a “deal” could achieve the “war objectives” against Iran. Netanyahu also said that Israel will “continue airstrikes against Iran and Lebanon.”
According to Netanyahu, Trump called him that day and indicated that the U.S. and Israel could leverage “significant achievements” to “reach an agreement” that would “effectively safeguard core American and Israeli interests.”
Netanyahu stated that he “will defend Israel’s fundamental interests under any circumstances”; Israel will destroy Iran’s missile and nuclear programs and heavily damage Hezbollah in Lebanon.
He also revealed that Israel recently “eliminated” two Iranian nuclear scientists.
Earlier on March 23, Trump said that the U.S. had reached an agreement in talks with an Iranian “leader.” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani said Iran had received messages from some friendly countries over the past few days regarding U.S. efforts to end the war through negotiations, and Iran has responded appropriately based on its principles. Iran has not held any negotiations with the U.S.
According to reports from Iran on March 24 local time, the U.S. and Israel attacked two energy infrastructure sites located in Isfahan in central Iran and Hormozgan in the southwest.
It is reported that the natural gas company building and gas pressure reduction station in Isfahan were targeted, with some facilities and nearby residences damaged. The natural gas pipeline at the Hormozgan power plant was also attacked, but no casualties occurred.
U.S. Plans
According to Reuters on March 23, the U.S. “Politico” cited two U.S. government officials saying that the Trump administration is secretly considering Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani as a potential partner, or even as a future leader of Iran.
The report states that at least some members of the White House see Larijani as a feasible partner who could lead Iran in the next phase of the conflict and negotiate with the Trump administration.
Additionally, Iran’s Fars News Agency on March 23 quoted sources saying that the so-called negotiations between Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and the U.S. are completely false; one purpose of fabricating this false news is to create conditions for the assassination of Larijani.
The source said that the false news about negotiations also aims to slander Larijani, cause division within Iran, and incite public sentiment.
According to China News Service, citing Israel’s Ynet News website on March 23, an Israeli official stated that the U.S. has set April 9 as the target date to end the conflict with Iran. The official said that talks between Iran and the U.S. are expected to take place later this week in Pakistan. The report also mentioned that Trump indicated the U.S. has held two days of talks with Iran on ending the war and has withdrawn the previous 48-hour ultimatum demanding attacks on power plants. Iran, however, denies engaging in any negotiations.
