State Data Bureau: Will Deeply Implement New Round of High-Quality Dataset Construction Action Plan

Mars Finance News, March 24 — The State Council Information Office held a press conference regarding the Ninth Digital China Construction Summit. Liu Lihong, member of the Party Leadership Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director of the National Data Bureau, stated that moving forward, efforts will continue to promote data-driven innovation in artificial intelligence. The plan includes deep collaboration with all parties to implement a new round of high-quality data set construction initiatives, covering six key areas: strengthening infrastructure and expanding capacity, tackling annotation challenges, improving quality and efficiency, empowering applications, managing services, and unlocking value. Guided by scene-specific needs, the work will be accelerated through pilot projects to develop AI-Ready high-quality data sets that are technically feasible, practical, convenient, and quality-assured, thereby enhancing both the quantity and quality of high-quality data supply.
