Shanghai Communications Administration: Removed 10 Apps (SDKs) that infringe on users' rights

People Finance News, March 20 — The Shanghai Communications Administration released a notification stating that in March 2026, the Shanghai Communications Administration publicized to the public a batch of APPs (SDKs) exhibiting behaviors that infringe upon user rights. Within the prescribed rectification period, upon verification and re-inspection, 10 APPs (SDKs) have still not implemented rectifications as required. The above-mentioned APPs (SDKs) are now subject to removal. The Shanghai Communications Administration will continuously monitor the above-mentioned APPs (SDKs) and, as circumstances warrant, will further adopt such measures as suspension of access, administrative penalties, and inclusion in the telecommunications business operation blacklist.
