February 27 | Major A-shares indices strengthen, with the ChiNext Index rising over 1%, the Shanghai Composite up 0.6%, and the Shenzhen Component Index up 1.11%. PEEK, automotive industry chain, computing power industry chain, and other sectors lead gains, with nearly 4,500 stocks in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing rising.

Northbound funds net bought over 7 billion yuan of A-shares.

6G concept stocks strengthen, with Mingyang Circuit (300739) hitting the 20% daily limit, and ZTE Corporation’s A-shares and H-shares both rising. The A-shares hit the daily limit, and H-shares rose over 9%. FiberHome Technologies (600498) gained over 8%, with Xinwei Communications (300136), Guangxun Technology (002281), China Satellite Communications (601698), and others following suit. On the news front, ten countries including the US, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the UK reached a consensus on the common principles for 6G wireless communication system development.

A-shares computing power concept stocks perform strongly, with Hightech Development (000628) hitting the daily limit, Cambrian (寒武纪) rising over 10%, and previously Zhongke Shuguang (603019) and Runjian Shares (002929) hitting the limit. Ziguang Group (000938), Jingjia Micro (300474), and Hongbo Shares (002229) surged.

A-shares satellite internet sector surged in the afternoon, with Zhenhua Technology (000733) hitting the daily limit, Shaanxi Huada, Chuangyuan Xinke, and Hengyu Xintong rising over 10%, and Liyang Chips, Nanjing Panda (600775), and Tianyin Electromechanical (300342) among the top gainers. On the news front, on February 26, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (000901) released the “China Aerospace Science and Technology Blue Paper (2023),” indicating that China plans about 100 launches in 2024, potentially setting new records. Major tasks planned for 2024 include the first commercial space launch site’s maiden launch and accelerated network construction for multiple satellite constellations.
