Gelonghui March 22 | China Power Investment Water & Hydropower (600292.SH) released the 2025 annual performance forecast. In 2025, total operating revenue was 12.152 billion yuan, a decrease of 15.90% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 532 million yuan, down 34.07% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 45.6537 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 149.94%, with basic earnings per share of 0.12 yuan.

Due to the company’s major asset restructuring, Wuling Electric Power Co., Ltd. and China Power Investment Group Guangxi Changzhou Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. were merged into the company at the end of October 2025. The listed company added integrated development and operation of hydropower and basin hydropower station new energy businesses. Compared with the retrospective adjustment, the company’s total assets, owners’ equity, operating income, and profits all showed significant growth.

According to the “Enterprise Accounting Standards No. 33—Consolidated Financial Statements,” the company’s merger of subsidiaries under the same control during the reporting period should be regarded as if the consolidated entity has existed continuously in previous periods. Therefore, the data for the same period last year and at the beginning of this reporting period are retrospectively adjusted according to the same control principle. The net profit attributable to the parent company’s owners in 2025 is expected to decrease by about 275 million yuan compared to the same period last year, a decrease of approximately 34.07%. The main reasons for the decline are: profit reduction due to the divestment of non-renewable energy assets outside Hunan Province during restructuring, water inflow in the Yuanshui River basin being relatively low, increased intermediary service fees during restructuring, and the overall impact of losses in environmental protection project operations.
