Trump-linked American Bitcoin's BTC holdings overtake Mike Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital
American Bitcoin (ABTC), a mining and treasury firm with ties to the Trump family, has surpassed Mike Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital in Bitcoin holdings, now holding 6,899 BTC. This makes ABTC the 16th largest public holder of Bitcoin, highlighting new entrants’ growing influence in the crypto market. The company, which is a subsidiary of Hut 8 and has investors including Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., is doubling down on Bitcoin mining despite some firms shifting towards AI infrastructure.
