# Life and Trading

Brothers, hello everyone. I'm trader Zhu Yidan. At this very moment, I'm lying in a bed in a foreign land unable to sleep. I'm not anxious about the losses on my account statement; I'm simply lamenting how time flies. In the blink of an eye, I'm over thirty, and more than half of life's best years have already passed. I still haven't become the person I wanted to be.

I'm a fortunate person. In 2025, I made a beautiful comeback, climbing out of a debt quagmire for the third time. But I'm very clear-headed about this—I attribute it to luck. I happened to encounter market conditions that suited my strengths. In our circle, many people have made enough money to change their lives, but ultimately didn't keep it. Actually, they didn't just lose the money; they also lost the opportunity to peacefully live as an ordinary person. The feeling of falling from great heights is too painful. Most people have been ruined by it, especially those who only succeeded by eating the industry's dividend.

When I first entered this circle, the most common word I heard was "cognition." At first, I was dismissive of it, thinking people who constantly spoke about cognition were pretentious, acting like they possessed great insight. Only after my life went through several roller coasters did I understand the weight of the word "cognition." The height of your life may fluctuate due to luck, but cognition is the mean you'll ultimately revert to. You can temporarily make money beyond your cognition level, but eventually you'll lose it back through your cognition.

I know many people are struggling in the current market conditions—truly struggling. Some even feel their lives are about to collapse, apologizing to their families and themselves. Stopping on the wrong path is the correct beginning. Stop making reckless bets. See clearly what kind of market this is now. The difficulty of making serious money in a market without capital is no different from creating something from nothing.

It's like a gambling game. The winners have already left the table. Only a few losers without much money remain, cutting each other's throats. When a gambling game reaches this stage, it's actually approaching its end. Your unwillingness to accept loss and your pride will only wastefully consume your energy. Your best choice is to go home, take a shower, get some good sleep, and wait for the next new gambling game to begin! Believe me, there will be one!
