China and the US Hold Economic and Trade Consultations in Paris, France

On March 15-16 local time, Chinese and U.S. trade and economic leaders, Vice Premier He Lifeng of the State Council and U.S. leaders, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Trade Representative Katherine Tai, held trade negotiations in Paris, France. The two sides, guided by the important consensus between the Chinese and U.S. heads of state, engaged in frank, in-depth, and constructive discussions on issues of mutual concern such as tariff arrangements, promoting bilateral trade and investment, and maintaining existing consultation consensus. They reached some new agreements and will continue to maintain consultations. (Xinhua News Agency)
