LPG Transport Ship to China Successfully Passes Through Strait of Hormuz

Ship tracking data shows that a large liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker linked to Iran departed on Saturday for China, successfully passing through the Strait of Hormuz; on the same day, two bulk carriers and a small fuel oil tanker also successfully left the Persian Gulf. Additionally, two bulk carriers departed on Sunday morning.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps reiterated in a statement on Sunday that the Strait of Hormuz is not fully blocked and is currently under Iran’s intelligent control, with the waterway closed only to enemies and ships deemed “harmful to navigation.”
