Abstract generation in progress

On March 20th, the “Electric Power Construction No. 1” satellite passed factory acceptance testing, marking the successful completion of its development. This is China’s first energy engineering dedicated satellite, jointly developed by China Electric Power Construction Chengdu Institute, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and Tianyi Space Technology Co., Ltd. The “Electric Power Construction No. 1” satellite achieved multiple technological breakthroughs, including lightweight design, precise positioning, and high-resolution imaging. It is deployed in a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 500±50 kilometers, with a total weight of 298 kilograms. The satellite has established a complete radar satellite technology chain from payload and platform to launch, tracking, data transmission, and application. It offers a maximum resolution of sub-meter, a revisit cycle of 11 days, a operational lifespan of 5 years, and is used for deformation monitoring of large engineering structures, geological hazard identification, and early warning in harsh environments and complex terrain conditions.
