China Zhouyuan Expressway REIT: February toll revenue of 39.26 million yuan, up 37.6% year-over-year
Guanfawang News: On March 22, Huaxia China Communications Construction High-Speed Highway Closed Infrastructure Securities Investment Fund (referred to as “Huaxia China Communications Construction High-Speed REIT”) disclosed key operational data for February 2026. The average daily toll traffic on Jiatong Expressway was 33,569 vehicles, a 26.8% increase month-over-month and a 35.3% increase year-over-year; toll revenue (including VAT) was 39.26 million yuan, up 37.6% year-over-year but down 4.7% month-over-month.
From January to February 2026, total toll revenue reached 80.46 million yuan, an 8.5% increase year-over-year; the average daily toll traffic was 29,839 vehicles, a slight increase of 1.3% year-over-year. The announcement pointed out that the year-over-year increase in traffic and toll revenue was mainly due to the 27 days of Spring Festival travel in February 2026, which boosted passenger travel willingness, and the opening of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway Hubei North Section reconstruction and expansion project on February 6.
The month-over-month decline in toll revenue was influenced by two factors: first, February has 3 fewer days than January, and the 9-day Spring Festival holiday allowed free passage for Class 1 vehicles with 7 seats or fewer; second, during Spring Festival travel, the proportion of passenger vehicles increased, but since passenger vehicle tolls are lower than freight trucks, this caused a divergence between revenue and traffic volume trends.
