Wife of UPS pilot sues San Antonio company over fatal jet crash
The wife of a UPS pilot, Dana Justin Diamond, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against ST Engineering San Antonio Aerospace, General Electric Co., and Boeing Co. following a fatal jet crash in Louisville, Kentucky. The lawsuit alleges that the San Antonio firm, which performed maintenance on the MD-11 jet two weeks before the crash, was negligent, leading to an engine detaching during takeoff. This is at least the sixth lawsuit against ST Engineering San Antonio Aerospace concerning the November crash that killed three crew members and 12 people on the ground.
