Questioning AI · Why did Iran suddenly escalate its threatening rhetoric against the US and Israel?

According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, on March 20, senior spokesperson of the Iranian Armed Forces Abolfazl Shekarchi responded to recent assassination attempts on several Iranian officials. He stated that for US and Israeli officials, “resorts and entertainment centers” around the world will no longer be safe.

Shekarchi said that the actions of the US and Israel in assassinating Iranian leaders, senior officials, and military commanders do not demonstrate strength but reflect “the enemy’s treachery, helplessness, and despair.” He emphasized that Iranian officials and leaders live among the people, unlike US and Israeli officials who hide underground or in shelters, or use the people as shields to protect their lives.

Shekarchi warned US and Israeli officials: “We are monitoring your cowardly officials, commanders, pilots, and soldiers. With firm resolve, while continuing to launch powerful attacks against you as before, we will soon shamefully drag you out of your hideouts and shelters, making you pay for your despicable actions.”

He added that based on intelligence Iran has obtained, Iran will carry out targeted eliminations of these individuals at “appropriate times” in resorts, scenic spots, and various entertainment centers around the world.

“From now on, resorts, tourist attractions, and leisure centers worldwide will no longer be safe for you,” Shekarchi said.
