To effectively fulfill the responsibilities of protecting financial consumers’ rights and interests, and to improve the financial literacy of new employment groups such as the elderly, youth, and “Two Supervisors and Two Members,” on March 14, Ping An Bank Haikou Branch, in cooperation with multiple financial institutions within its jurisdiction, visited Longqi Community in Meilan District, Haikou City, to carry out the 2026 “3.15” Financial Education Promotion Campaign. The event used diverse formats to bridge the “last mile” of financial knowledge dissemination.

This event innovatively adopted a “professional teaching + artistic performance + market experience” integrated model, transforming financial consumer protection knowledge from “theoretical lecturing” into an “immersive experience,” truly achieving education through entertainment that is memorable and impactful.

Specially invited anti-fraud police officers delivered themed lessons, using recent high-incidence scam cases in the community to explain common fraud tactics such as “impersonating police or judicial officials,” “fake investments,” and “pension scams” in simple and understandable language. They guided residents step-by-step on how to identify scam language, protect personal information, and safeguard funds, building the first line of defense against fraud.

To break the monotony of traditional publicity, the event incorporated entertaining skits and adapted songs and dance performances. Performers depicted financial consumer protection knowledge through everyday scenarios, integrating content such as telecom and internet scam prevention, deposit insurance, and the eight basic rights of financial consumers into the plot and melodies, eliciting applause from the audience and conveying consumer protection concepts in a relaxed atmosphere.

A financial market was simultaneously set up as a highlight. On-site convenience consultation desks and interactive experience zones were arranged, where financial volunteers provided one-on-one consulting services. They answered questions on rational investing, personal credit maintenance, deposit insurance, proper and compliant use of bank cards, and rational borrowing, guiding consumers to participate in the online H5 quiz activity “‘3.15’ Safeguarding Hainan · Financial Consumer Protection Free Trade Tour,” actively learning financial knowledge and enhancing risk awareness.

This event, organized by Ping An Bank Haikou Branch in collaboration with various financial institutions, actively brought professional financial knowledge to grassroots communities and closer to the people. Through face-to-face explanations and interactions, it improved the financial literacy and fraud prevention capabilities of groups such as the elderly, youth, “Two Supervisors and Two Members,” helping residents clearly identify various financial scams, master practical self-protection methods, and establish rational investment and rights awareness, thereby effectively enhancing financial literacy among the public.
