China Petrochemical appoints Wan Tao as President; Tian Hongbin named Senior Vice President

Sinopec (00386) announced that Zhao Dong has resigned as President and authorized representative due to work adjustments, and has been reassigned as a non-executive director, while remaining as Vice Chairman; Wan Tao has been appointed as President and authorized representative; and it is proposed to elect Tian Hongbin as an executive director, subject to approval at the shareholders’ meeting. Tian Hongbin has also been appointed as Senior Vice President. Aside from the proposal to elect an executive director, all the above matters took effect from March 20.
