Why is working a job the fastest way to destroy a person?

Because the essence of employment is that you sell your life’s time in bulk to a company, which then retails your labor成果 to the market through its organizational structure.
This means you lose the most important leverage of wealth.
Even if you work 24 hours a day, your income is capped and only increases linearly.
But the marginal profit generated by your labor should grow exponentially—yet it all belongs to those who control the means of production.
You are using your most scarce asset—non-renewable time—to exchange for fiat currency that depreciates at any moment.
Employment makes you appear busy every day, but in reality, you are just performing high-frequency muscle memory repetitions at a low dimension.
Moreover, your brain’s processing power is drained daily by countless meaningless meetings, carefully worded reports to leaders, and managing boundaries with colleagues.
The most direct consequence of this is:
When you drag your exhausted body home at 8 PM, you have no residual energy left for deep learning or side ventures.
All you can do is scroll through short videos to produce cheap dopamine and passively numb yourself.
Having three years of experience compared to ten years results in this: it completely solidifies your cognitive boundaries and destroys your ability to handle the complexities of the real world.
