Gelonghui March 18 | Kingsoft Cloud (KC.US) initially surged over 17% in pre-market trading, reaching a high of $15.40.

On the news front, today Alibaba Cloud and Baidu Intelligent Cloud announced price increases, with the highest rise of 34%. As early as March 11, Tencent Cloud’s AI development platform announced a change in billing strategy, with the public beta model switching from free to pay-as-you-go on March 13, and the Mengyuan series models generally increasing in price by over 400%.

Everbright Securities previously pointed out that the strong global demand for AI computing power is reshaping the cloud service industry logic. With AWS breaking the norm by raising prices first, the vicious price competition in the industry is expected to end, and both profit centers and valuation systems will undergo dual recovery. As a core cloud platform within the Xiaomi ecosystem, Kingsoft Cloud’s AI business is expected to maintain rapid growth and directly benefit from the industry’s recovery and its own accelerated growth.
