People’s Financial News, March 19 — UN Secretary-General António Guterres called on the United States and Israel to end their war against Iran during the EU Summit in Brussels, Belgium. He urged both countries to immediately cease hostilities, warning that the conflict risks spiraling out of control, causing immense suffering to civilians, and severely impacting the global economy. He warned that the situation could lead to tragic consequences, especially affecting the least developed countries. Guterres also emphasized that Iran must stop attacking neighboring countries that are not involved in the conflict.
