Iran Conflict | Trump: I Don't Want a Ceasefire

The situation in the Middle East remains tense. U.S. President Trump told reporters on Friday, “We can talk to Iran, but I don’t want a ceasefire.”

According to U.S. media reports, Trump has been weighing whether to deploy ground troops in the Gulf region, and it is not yet clear under what circumstances he would authorize U.S. military ground operations. It is reported that U.S. Department of Defense officials have prepared detailed plans for deploying U.S. ground forces to Iran.

When discussing oil prices, Trump again claimed that he initially expected the situation to be worse.
