#BERA "Partridge Sky: Ode to Xiong Chain"

Do not say that humble origins will dim ambition's light,
Since ancient times, nine deaths have fought for distant heights.
When falling, no one blocks your path with care,
Yet who counts all the obstacles laid bare?

Lift solitary shadows, face heaven's measure true,
Do not ask of forbidden scales how many constrain you.
Early success need not mark a hero's way,
Late-blooming vessels must harbor wisdom's stay.

Time has not yet come, do not let tears stain,
Endure as grinding wears the youthful strain.
When fortune arrives, advance but by three parts remain,
In calm stability, ten thousand measures of gold you'll gain.
