India's PhonePe pauses IPO over geopolitical tensions

The company filed an updated IPO prospectus in January, targeting a listing later in the year.

However, with the Middle East in turmoil, it now says: “We sincerely hope for a swift return to peace in all the affected regions. We remain committed to a public listing in India."

Founded in 2015, PhonePe today has hundreds of millions of registered users and is looking to list at a valuation of between $9 billion and $10.5 billion.
