Williams: As of the week ending February 25, the number of sugar ships waiting to be exported at Brazilian ports continued to decline to 41 vessels.

Data released by Brazilian shipping agency Williams shows that as of the week ending February 25, there were 41 ships waiting to load sugar at Brazilian ports, down from 43 ships the previous week. The total amount of sugar waiting to be shipped was 1.4617 million tons, compared to 1.577 million tons the previous week. Of the total sugar awaiting export that week, high-grade raw sugar (VHP) accounted for 1.3877 million tons. According to Williams, Santos Port had 834,000 tons of sugar waiting for export, and Paranaguá Port had 241,400 tons waiting for export.
