Apple Stock (AAPL) Rises as AirPods Max Finally Gets Second Generation

Apple’s AAPL +0.93% ▲ shares rose over 1% on Monday afternoon after the U.S. consumer electronics giant extended its latest product refresh cycle to its premium AirPods Max earphones. The company launched the AirPods Max 2, introducing the second generation of the much-awaited device more than five years after the first model.

The new version starts at $549 and is powered by Apple’s advanced but older H2 earphone chip architecture. AirPods Max 2 adds features such as adaptive audio, conversation awareness, and live translation powered by Apple Intelligence.
