Abstract generation in progress

Colgate-Palmolive has informed the National Legal and Policy Center that it will ask investors to vote against a proposal to remove DEI-related criteria for board selection. This decision aligns Colgate with a few other companies like Costco and Apple that are maintaining their DEI policies despite pressure from conservative groups and the Trump administration. The company emphasizes the importance of a broad range of skills, experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds on its board, noting that about two-thirds of its net sales come from outside the U.S.
