During the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, the Weifang real estate market experienced a wave of “warmth.” Major developments in Weifang remained open, combined with a returning-home buying surge and the city’s “Celebrate the New Year, Move to a New Home” campaign—offering special Spring Festival homebuying discounts during the high-quality residential sales month. The number of visitors to the real estate market across the city significantly increased, and the number of potential transactions steadily rose.

This Spring Festival, Weifang’s sales offices were much busier than in previous years. Core areas like Kuiwen, High-tech Zone, and Weicheng became popular viewing spots, with an average of 20-30 groups visiting per day at popular developments. Some quality move-in ready projects saw daily visits peak at over 50 groups. Especially during the last two days of the holiday, families viewing homes and returning home to buy became the main purchasing force.

The popular projects such as Greentown Guiyu Chaoyang in Weicheng, Orange Garden in Kuiwen, and Hengxin Spring Wind in High-tech Zone saw a surge in popularity and significantly increased sales. Shi Chenglong, marketing director of Greentown Guiyu Chaoyang, said, “This year’s customers are different from previous years. Data from visits and transactions show that most customers now are first-time buyers or looking for marriage homes, with shorter transaction cycles. Customers seeking upgrades are less urgent, and their transaction cycles tend to be longer. They pay more attention to reputable developers, real scene move-in homes, school district facilities, and delivery guarantees.”

Due to the suspension of online signing during the Spring Festival holiday, immediate transaction data lagged slightly. However, the enthusiasm for high-quality residential projects in terms of reservation, booking, and locking in homes remained strong, and market activity significantly increased. The city’s “Spring Festival Shopping Promotion” series of policies continued to boost consumption, with major developers launching special-priced homes, transaction packages, parking discounts, and property fee reductions, effectively boosting buyer confidence.

Meanwhile, during the holiday, major developments coordinated with local real estate influencers through live virtual tours, online Q&A sessions, and one-on-one precise consultations, allowing buyers unable to visit in person to “view homes online.”

Industry insiders say that the Weifang real estate market saw a rebound in popularity and stable operation during the Spring Festival, with clear signs of market segmentation. Projects with strong brands, high quality, and reliable delivery are more favored. As work and production resume after the holiday, online signing gradually recovers, and Weifang’s real estate market is expected to experience a “spring small warm-up.”
