Embodied Intelligence Achieves Major Breakthrough, Xpeng Plans Full-Chain Production Base for Humanoid Robots

On February 25, at the Guangzhou High-Quality Development Conference, Xpeng’s full-chain humanoid robot production base was officially announced as a key project in Tianhe District. During the event, officials stated that they will “initiate 30 new projects, including Xpeng robot manufacturing plants, in the first quarter, and accelerate construction of 207 ongoing projects such as the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Park.”

The project is located in Guangzhou Tianhe Guangtang Science and Technology Innovation City, within the Embodied Intelligence Industrial Park, covering approximately 110,000 square meters. It will support the entire process from R&D verification and small-scale testing to large-scale production. The first phase will include the construction of robot factories and supporting facilities. He Xiaopeng stated that the goal is to become the world’s first company to mass-produce advanced humanoid robots by the end of 2026.

【Institutional Viewpoints】

Everbright Securities pointed out that the robot performances at the Spring Festival Gala were quite impressive and have thematic value. During the 2026 Year of the Horse Gala, robots from Songyan Power, Yushu Technology, Galaxy General, and Magic Atom competed on stage. Performance, cultural tourism, and commercial entertainment are currently the most mature and fastest-to-monetize scenarios for humanoid robots, requiring no complex industrial integration or long-term validation—single events can generate revenue and brand exposure. Leading robot companies typically start by establishing business models in performance scenarios before gradually expanding into industrial, service, and retail sectors. Companies with performance channels, IP resources, and stage operation capabilities that form deep partnerships with top robot manufacturers have thematic configuration value, benefiting from order certainty and exposure dividends.
